Like the title says, things I found while cleaning my shop area.
So allow me to set the stage, about 8 years ago I had the first of 3 major heart attacks. I was 45 at the time.
So after having by pass surgery and a couple of other operations.
in the past several months I have been feeling well enough to attempt a clean up of my shop area.
I have a lot of junk that has just been sitting around for the past 8 years collecting dust. so little by little I have made enough room to be able to make a few projects, an a couple of much needed jigs
Today, I really felt up to the task of cleaning a corner area that has been needing cleaned for a long time.
So I jumped in. The first item I found was a bundle of Black Walnut I had got for a project right before my health problems shut me down.
next I found my bench top scroll saw, and router table with router.
after a little more cleaning I found an old card board box, inside I found a pack of 12 inch sanding disks, 2 new saw blade arbors and a dado blade arbor. still need to find my dado insert.
I also found some much needed floor space.
I am hoping tomorrow I will feel well enough to make some saw dust and wood chips.

It is so good to hear that you are now feeling better. However, go at this slowly. Do not over exert.
These are words that I am hearing as I too recover from heart surgery. It is a challenge to not spend the day in the shop; trying to get back to where I was when this all began. But, I will get there and you will too.

Re: Thigs I found while cleaning my shop area.
Thanks for the positive thoughts.
I took yesterday off, just sat in my chair and surfed the web, and took a couple of naps.
Feeling good today, I cleared a few things off the work bench and low and behold. There in plain sight was the dado blade insert. if it was a snake it would had bit me for sure.
After cleaning the bench. I took a piece of scrap 2x2 and played around on the lathe. not liking how the wood was cutting. So I changed the set up to the disk sander, put on a new sanding disk, and sharpened all of my chisels. Back to lathe mode and finished my project. an 18 inch bat.
Boy you should see the dog chase the ping pong balls when I wack them.
It was a beautiful 75 degree day today, so glad I was able to take advantage of the weather.
Hope every one had a great day.

If turning wood, and then playing with a dog in 75 degree weather, won't cure what ails you, I can't imagine what would.
I'm looking forward to hearing about more of your adventures. Those mandatory rest breaks sound like a fine time to post.
