Mom will be 96 in May, and when she worked at International Harvester she was a pin up on there calendar one month in the late 30s or early 40s, and mom was a hoty, sitting on a Polar Bear rug, in a Poodle Skirt spread out, showing some leg and leaning forward. I searched for it but could not find it.
So anyway it was 56* here and mom went out soliciting today.

The Greatness officially starts
Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them.

Re: Mom Out Soliciting!!!
Hmmm. It seems that the WWII generation had their share of fun too.
My mom didn't age nearly a successfully as yours, but in her youth she also turned a head or two. She was one of the ladies in this official USAF photo (so stamped on the back of the 8x10 glossy), taken circa 1950 at an Arnold Air Force Station beauty pageant.
I saw this photo for the very first time when she was being roasted at her retirement ceremony. Years later, I found a copy in a family photo album, well hidden beneath more respectable photos.
As for the other bathing beauties, I well remember slightly older versions of them as the moms of childhood playmates.

Second from the left. Our left, that is, in a white "bathing suit". Judging from the photo, I don't think that she placed in that contest.JPG wrote:All right, Which one?BuckeyeDennis wrote:Hmmm. It seems that the WWII generation had their share of fun too.![]()
