Oh man will have to
This is all going in my classroom though.
There is a Mk v 510 and over arm pin router in that pile and just about every accessory you could imagine

I don't consider myself an addict. I have one Shopsmith that I've owned since 1988. I have built almost every piece of furniture in my house with it and all the built in cabinets in the house too.
That isn't an addiction. It is a practical way to have the finest woodwork in your house and do it cheaply.

Gary it is easy to see that you are in denial!
I have four shopsmiths now. I haven't made anything very useful with any of them yet, but I do make an awful lot of saw dust.

And if you just like great designed, easy to rebuild machinery, they are great.

The Greatness officially starts
Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them.

I'm about as anxious as a blind dog in a meat house to chime in on this!!!
Lets face it, You simply cannot have too many Shopsmiths..........
As I was processing firewood for next winter and passed by my model 10's, I was thinking to myself, Wow, The ole gals are still running strong at the young age of 66, 67 and 68 years. They are 100% USA built and have virtually no plastic parts and from what I have heard, They still use models 10's to build the new Mark's...
How many other machines can lay claim to that???
Excellent score Gary!!!!!!!!!

I have 3 tens, and not trophy wifes.
2 for sure have the original bearings, # 3 might have been replaced at one time. Other then some rust clean up on the tubes, and a switch and some wiring, after the fact, they were plug and play at 60+ years old when I got them.

I am not addicted. Really. I could quit any time I want to. Just because I have four 510's and lots of spare parts and check CL daily doesn't make me an addict. At least I don't think it does. Well maybe just a slight addiction. Ok so I'm addicted. Can I get govt assistance to go to rehab for this ? Hmmm. Nope, don't want to be rehabbed. I LIKE IT !!!!

Re: Heo my name is Richard and I am an addict
My older brother used to think I was addicted, and thought that since the
mid '60s. (When we were kids, the guy next door had a Mark VII, and big
bro heard ALL the horror stories.)
So, last October/November range, he got one of my Model 10s, and LOVED
the lathe.
Last week he expressed a desire to get a decent drill-press, since his was a
desktop HF type one. I told him to use his OTHER (Model 10) drill-press.
Couple days later, he was raving about the build and quality of the thing.
Then, I told him to try it as a horizontal drill-press.
Now, he's addicted!

10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.
Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.
