Replacement bolts for the Mark 5 GE motor

I had to drill out a motor thru bolt on my '62 GE 1 1/8HP motor. Trying to find a suitable replacement bolt. They are #8-32 x 7 1/8" thru bolts. Has anybody replaced these?

I found a possible replacement from Yellow Jacket (SuperEvac Pump), part number 93099, listed as a "8/32 x 7 1/4" motor bolt but I couldn't get any more information. I may just order a package of 4 and try them ($4.32 + $10 shipping) unless someone else has a better source?

Seems to be an acceptable replacement.

P.S. a local motor shop may be an option. Cannibalize one from a defunct motor.

I would think that 8X32 all thread rod from a hardware store should do the trick. Cut it to the proper length and put a nut on each end.

I too have done this and it works fine. If it looks like it will be by any wired you can add some tubing or tape to make sure it will not rub on them.

Sounds like the all thread is the way to go. Not "factory", as I was hoping, but $1.30 for a 3' rod of 8-32 at Copperstate here in Tucson and no "defunct" motors...seems like the most practical solution.
