Shopsmith Catalogs

Post by jjbuzard »

I am so glad I saved all of my late 70's early 80's and later Shopsmith Catalogs, they are a treasure Trove of information, especially those with Parts breakdown drawings in each issue.

I'll bet that is cool. I wonder how the items compare to what the website lists today ....

I too saved catalogs but not all of them. That cover looks like one I might have saved but mine is in a much more tattered condition. I loved when they had catalogs and wish we could return to those days..........

Loved loved those catalogues. Read them circled everything I wanted and reread them and underlined what I really wanted. Reread them and using a red pencil marked everything I had to have. Then I handed to the wife for birthdays, father days, Christmas, anniversaries.

She usually ended up calling Shopsmith customer service and in those days they knew you. They would tell her what I wanted. They were always right.

I have a few that survived from the 1980's if I can just figure out where they are stored.
