10ER diy lathe extension video.

Post by rpd »

Just ran across video showing how to make a lathe extension for the 10er.

It looks quite similar to the one in this video which appears to be no longer available for sale.

Your second video shows the one (I believe) made by Tom Houser (hogwinslow). He used to sell them. I think he bought Bill Mayo's inventory of 10ER parts. He still has parts on eBay. I recently bought a set of 10ER speed changer belts from him. It seems he has changed his web site and I can't find it. Does anyone know his new site?

Yes I found that on Google but what is the direct URL. WWW.hogwinslowwoodworking.com does not work.

Yes that is what I said. It comes up on Google but not directly. His email address has not changed. I have one of his business cards here. I will email him and ask what is going on.

John funny, that is the link as I posted it in my favorites and it took me right to his. I even opened it up to make sure it worked on that post.

Yes, but, it is a GOOGLE link not directly to his URL. Maybe you can only get to it via Google. Why would you do that? That makes no sense.

John, I have no idea, I am basically a bit illiterate on this stuff, I am just spit balling here, is email is a Google account, maybe his web site is too. I am sure JPG if he reads this all will tease us with an answer
