Back to our Up bringing
Like in Maintenance, lets start a Thread here about recipes, kitchen techniques are parents/mothers taught us, recipes, gardening.
Many guys here I am sure cook a bit and BBG, and the females here and the wifes of the old cogers here have a lot to contribute.
So to you JPG you have a input to the Adim, set it up like in Maintenance, I dont have the knowledge/computer skills to do it.
Also, we have some youngsters here, and they will learn and contribute too.

The Greatness officially starts
Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them.

I have a good idea lets talk about hot glue and hot glue guns here. Only seems fair now doesn't it.

I used a Bosch glue gun my wife bought from the floral wholesaler 25 years ago. It functions but it is on its last legs. I need to replace it.
I tend to use a lot of hot glue at a time. The thing I liked about the Bosch is I could not out run it no matter how fast i fed glue stick it could keep up. A lot of the new ones won't do that. My wife has a black and decker glue that she loves but to me it can't produce the amount of glue I want. Just found out Dewalt is making a glue gun that I want to check out.
Let me know what you decide and if I find one I like I will let you know.

Re: Back to our Up bringing
For some reason known only to herself, my wife recently bought a set of really cheap crappy steak knives. And the cheap plastic handles keep breaking. While grilling last weekend, I actually broke a handle just by wiping the side of the blade on a paper towel. Then to make sure that wasn't a fluke, I wiped the other side of the blade, and broke the opposite side of the handle as well!
We already had a full set of a dozen good steak knives. J.A. Henckels, I think, that should last pretty much forever. But the wife seems to think that the good steak knives should be saved for special occasions. So to keep peace in the family, do y'all think that if I got some Stanley high-temp hot glue for my trusty Surebonder PRO2-100 glue gun, I could do a reasonable repair on her cheap steak knives?

And then, when you either fix them or make new handles, make a curly maple knife block for them and show us how you did it ....BuckeyeDennis wrote:For some reason known only to herself, my wife recently bought a set of really cheap crappy steak knives. Re: Back to our Up bringing
Boy, talk about busting balls.Maybe hot glue them back?
Sorry to be a wise @ss!
Re: Back to our Up bringing
My Mom and my Wife both told me to get out of the kitchen. But when doing the dishes it's O.K. and encouraged.
My one hot glue gun is even older than Ed's. You have to use your thumb to push the glue stick through the barrel.
There both subjects covered.

Lover, cooking? Really? Didn't know!
OK, the "grill."
Get a 55 gallon drum.
Turn it into a 55 gallon smoker.
Look up an UDS smoker, for instructions.
I'll post instructions, later.

10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.
Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.
