A sad day for America

I know a bit off topic, but his Highness announced the other day how he wants to let the 100K Syrians into the USA. I dont want to get this thing started since it will be pulled by the MS.
What foreign policy????? Non that strengthens are homeland and Allies!!

You know, this IS a land of immigrants. Legal immigrants. In the early days they all came in through Ellis Island NY and San Francisco.

The fact that we have let so many crap people in this country and still continue to do this in the name of "Freedom" with out any checks is appalling.

I spent a lot of time in Arab countries. Oman, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Eremites. All of the Muslim people I met were VERY nice. I felt safe even during and after the first Gulf war. It is a real different thing now. These radicals are more vicious than the Natzi's.

If you don't think these people are evil I don't know what to say.

Our Engineer company was on a standby during the Jordan Iseral criss in 1970. We went but did not see anything except a hell hole built roads and I was there long enough to know I liked Germany better

I spent a monthish in Romania waiting for Turkey "airspace" to open in 2003.....We went the Jordan route instead.

I totally understand that. We were deploying to Oman just a training deployment). Regan bombed Libya two days before we were supposed to leave. What a trip!!!! It is a long story. I think part of the timing of the Libya bombing was because we were going to be in the area.

I know a guy not far from the last bombing in Belgium and he says it is not a nice place now. Still a lot going on. I am sure there is alot going on with our soldiers and places where they are that is not said. I was on one of these in 1970 and nothing was said about it yet today on the net. I will say this it was not a nice place

I have been all over the world. Mostly on a C-141 but once on a KC-10 (nice ride) and a C-5 (a better ride). Thailand, Guam, Philippines, Norway, Denmark, Netherlands, Germany, The Azores, Spain, Egypt, Oman, The United Arab Eremites, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

I have no doubt that things have changed over seas for all Americans wherever they are. Remember Benghazi? There was a time in this country when the country protected embassy personnel.

I have friends in Germany I have known since I was stationed there and they said anymore you don't dare to go out at night. It never use to be that way but I guess we had better draw a line in the sand LOL

John they are evil, I think you miss interpreted it. We are are a land of immigrants, mostly western Europe Anglo Saxon descendants, and from the Orient as basically slave labor, not to mention the Afro Americans that are here via as slaves. They served there time here and in the wars, not that some Hispanics did not also, But that was a different time, now it is time to be more selective in this day in the way the World is, I am watching Trump at a town hall meeting here in Milwaukee,WI, he made a statement about who we are at war with, "'they dont wear a military uniform, we have to protect us from who we let in."'

I have no idea what you mean when you say "I think you miss interpreted it". Misinterpreted what? The illegal immigrants here today have not served. When I got assigned here in 1984 there was virtually NO crime. Now there are 3 or 4 news articles a day about robbery's, stabbings, domestic violence, on and on. Guess what 99% are Hispanic, many illegals from Mexico.

Of course the "slaves" have mostly done their duty. My wife is Black (I am white in case there is any question). She was born in Mississippi. Not exactly the haven of black people even today. She has Choctaw Indian heritage. That tribe and the Navajo among many others served as code talkers during WWII.

Should I mention the Tuskegee airman. This is their 75th anniversary.

All of the thousands of South East Asians that came to this country after the Viet Nam war only came here to have a better life. Just like the Europeans in the 19th century.

In this day and age how do you know what these peoples intent is when you don't even make a rudamental check. Lets just let them in cart blanch. BS.

John, I cant find my point, that I thought I thought you misinterpreted, I totally agree with you, The Tuskegee Airmen were there for for my dads last 5 of 32 missions flying a B26 Marauder Path Finder with its radio beam to the target, like in the movie, Memphis Bell, I asked dad why did he not get to go home after 25 missions, he said, short on pilots, he made it back in on a Prayer and a Angel on his wings 3 times.

My dad was a Squadron Leader, he was in pre med when called, he said where can I go with the last chance of getting called up, Air force Reserve well we know what was a major part of WWII.
He at the end, with a bit of Dementia at 91 could till you about ever mission, time weather, alternate targets without looking in his flight notes.
I was up in Maine skiing and was in a art store and found this painting by another B26 Marauder Squadron Leader, it had history of the mission, hit the oil refineries in the Ukraine if I remember right, a major daylight bomber run, lost 1/3rd to 1/2 of them, did not fly any for the next 3 days to regroup and rethink. Here is part of that pic for dad, he was yellow tails or white tails meeting up.

Dad said on that mission the Flack was so thick/heavy if you got hit just jump out and walk down on it!!!!
