Has anyone heard of Forest City Tool drill bits?

I just bought a used Shopsmith and amongst other things, it came with a set of brad point drill bits. What's interesting to me is they all have 1/2" shanks, even the 1/4" bit. Stamped on the shanks is "Forest City Tool Hickory, NC". Just wanted to ask if anyone has heard of that brand of drill bits, and if so are they good quality?

I onced lived very close to you, Brunswick. 37 years ago there were retail stores in the area called Forrest City. They were the early forerunners of what is now the big box stores like Home Depot and Lowes. They sold all types of hardware that carried the Forrest City name.
Their lawn fertilizer was the best!
I wonder if you might have drill bits sold by them.

The headquarters was on Brookpark Rd just west of rt 21. I think the area was called independence Ohio.

We had a Forest City place (in I think it was Lombard IL) and I use to shop there because they had good prices and a large selection. It was a big box store before we started having big box stores. Looking up them I found this: "Forest City was founded as a family-owned lumber and hardware business in the 1920[5] by Charles, Leonard, Max and Fannye Ratner. In the 1930s, the company made its first foray into real estate, purchasing lots for commercial development and its first apartment building.

During World War II, the company made pre-fabricated houses for government housing and began building strip malls. In 1955, Forest City began converting its lumberyards, Forest City Lumber, into do-it yourself home stores.

In 1960, Forest City became a publicly traded company. In the 1980s, the company began divesting of its non-core real estate holdings. The company sold its retail lumber business to Handy Andy Home Improvement Center in 1987.[6] They are the second largest holder of real estate in Downtown Cleveland after Optima Ventures, a Miami-based real estate investment firm led by Chaim Schochet and 2/3rd owned by the Privat Group, one of Ukraine's largest business and banking groups."

We had the Handy Andy stores for a while but they too went away, one was quite near us and I still have a lot of the Handy Andy how to booklets that they provide.

I do not recall them having their own brand of drill bits so I can't help but think perhaps a different company all together.
