Comment on the MS

Post by ERLover »

Reible with his tool test and buying and innovations of things to add to a SS spends a lot of my money via his "testing". So I have placed a few orders at the MS over the last few weeks, DP vice for one.
Which gets me to my point, in the past I dealt with the great lady at SS that retired this past year. The last 2 times had Dave, all just fine, then this past week, Thursday picked up the Grayling and the BS, it needed new casters and a coupling, not much came with it, no Bling bags, on Friday I ordered casters and a coupling, talked to Dave, ordered, done deal, so Sunday I noticed that the cast iron table on the BS the blade inset was missing, called this morning, talked to Anita, asked here if the new style BS table blade insert would fit, she sez, "Oh we still have them for the cast iron ones, I will check with the ware house and see if they can get it in with the other order, it is going out today, I will call you back" 20 minutes later a done deal.
Yes Dusty I promised pics, but the Delta TS I picked up Saturday is still in my back seat, 2 person job to get it out, my neighbor is out in CO spring skiing, and mom aint up to it. I want to a photo exposei.

Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them. :)

Must have been "nice."

You posted it "twice."

10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.

Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.

Well an update, got my MS package today, BS insert was in there, now if I had my shop up and running I would have just made one out of wood, piece of metal or plastic, I did not ask Anita how much when I added it to my order, just glad they got it added. I figured around 5-7.95$
18.95$ For a thin piece of punched out aluminum 2ish" diameter disc. Same as a Delta, Sears ect.
A; not complaining, The MS needs support, and I did not ask.
B; I figure it a $10.00 contribution to the MS.
C; wont make that mistake again.
