I forgot my password to this site so had a new one sent to me. I can't find where to change my password from the gibberish that was sent to me. Where should I be looking?
Thanks in Advance,
David

Glad you asked. Since I just went through the same process I should be able to help you.Dave H. (CO) wrote:I forgot my password to this site so had a new one sent to me. I can't find where to change my password from the gibberish that was sent to me. Where should I be looking?

Click on the control panel link, then profile and then on account settings. That should be all you need.

I never had that problem, I am going to guess, go to your "user control panel". Top of the screen.

Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them.

Re: can't change password?
Thanks, I don't know why I haven't noticed that before. All fixed, until I forget the latest password I've entered.

Re: can't change password?
Dave, (I'm probably going to be BANISHED from AlGore's
Internet here) but use a number from your past, with known
additions. I use the family phone number from the early
'70s, with some strategic changes.
That number predates AlGore, so I "should be" safe.
(Great, now Sterling knows my password!)

10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.
Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.

Re: can't change password?
May I suggest installing a FREE password manager which keeps everything secure and requires a master password for anything that really needs protection such as credit cards, bank accounts, paypal, etc. DASHLANE is better than Lastpass, Keypass or other password managers I've used. When I log in to this site and others it automatically logs me in with my password. Of course they want to sell you the upgraded version that allows synchronization with other computers but who needs that? Not me.

The edit profile option is missing for me. How do I change my password?
