BTW, the SS 1 1/2" drum sanding mandrel fits MK V and thin wall 10ER tubes.

No such thing as a thin wall ER 10 tube. ;)

Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them. :)

John, you mean EMT thin wall?? Oh I know it can be done, I thought you were referring to the original tubes as "being thin walled".

Good to know! Thanks!

EMT is nothing I would ever use. As you know 10ER's in there later years have tubes the same as the MK V. They are almost half the thickness of the original 10ER tubes. My updated 520 Power pro has thick 10ER tubes. My dedicated MK V drill press has thick 10ER tubes. My shorty has the regular MK V tubes when I replaced the tubes on my 520 Power Pro with the 10ER tubes.

IT"S ALIVE!

Today I tore down the 81 Mark 5 and took all of the inner workings out and transferred them to the Greenie, Almost complete, I have some polishing of knobs etc, and get the Belt cover back on, but it is running. I need to time the Speed Control, but pretty much all of the transfer is done, so now this Greenie has a Double Bearing Quill, Poly V Belt drive, and a 1 1/8 HP motor. The end is in sight, now I can start getting the 81 Mark 5 ready for the Power Pro update and the 520 upgrade.
The Poly Drive is in.

I had no idea about them doing that in the later years with the ERs, my ignorance just got lowered a bit and knowledge raised. Thanks, :)
