has anybody used this spline setup from makv to bandsaw or any other equipment not the planer

I am sorry but I do not understand the question. When you speak of the spline, is it the plastic power coupler that you are asking about? If that is the case, I know of nowhere else that this is used but there are other power coupler (many of them).
