Test of Lifetime Guarantee On Weld Integrity

Post by charlese »

Yesterday I finished sawing out another 66 little cars and trucks. In the process I had two premium 3/36" blades break at the weld. I had other 3/16" blades break at the weld and had saved them for a couple years intending on re-soldering them myself.

Today called Shopsmith and told the story. Since I had over $100 of broken blades, I was sending them 5 premium blades, each with broken welds.

Guess the rest of the story will be coming in a couple weeks.

Yea! 5 new 3/16" blades arrived today. Noticed that in the meantime Shopsmith had a sale on bandsaw blades.
