Looking forward to it. I don't think I've ever seen even a photo of red trillium. I used to have ambitions of introducing white trillium into my own woods. But I understand that they are a favorite deer snack, in which case they would be mowed down almost immediately.camerio wrote:You are right ED.

We have the red ones here too.
This spring was a great year for spring flowers. Mayapples, bluebells, voilets, the woods was alive with flowers. Love to take walks and photographs this time of year.

Did I mention that there are some old-growth trees in this particular park? After seeing the one in the photo below, I can understand why the ancients believed that spirits lived within trees.
