Todays odd project: Golf ball chipmunk protection, maybe??

Post by reible »

We have issues with the chipmunks liking to use our flower boxes for planting their own seeds. That also results in dirt being thrown on the steps and trees, weeds and what not attempting to grow in the boxes. So this year experiment is seeing how they like golf balls being in the way.

As the rain cleans them a bit and the plants grow larger I think it will look interesting. Not being a golfer the ball collection is a bag of used balls and some that we have found on walks. What are golf balls doing out in the woods miles from golf courses, maybe some golfers can explain that? I think I can take a few of them out as they are double stacked in some places. That is a total of 68 balls shown.....

BTW that is alyssum (carpet of snow)

So what odd projects are you working on?

Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them. :)

10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.

Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.
