Today was 5/15/16, kinda like Pie Day, mom turned 96 today, Irish, it was like an Irish Wake, it started yesterday with Neighbors, Mom has lived here since '76, Flowers and baked goods, Sis came in yesterday afternoon, great cook, and took over for me till 1 ish today with moms needs, a nice break for me. Grand and Great Grands came over to day, more flowers then a Mafia God Father Funeral.
Tuff old Bird, as my dad said b4 he past at 92 a few years ago, Mary Janet will tell the undertaker how to embalm her!!!!
She is still taking names and kicking Butt.
Very appreciative of me being here, after the last time in the home for 6 days to give me a break. No walking, just movement from bed to chair and vice versa, lack of help to service those that are there. I saw physical leg weakness over the 6 days she was there, from when I take her out to walk, and get her circulation about, less water held in her ankles, ect.
Big Weekend!!!

The Greatness officially starts
Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them.

Re: Big Weekend!!!
BD you made my month!!! As I posted here b4, sis and her husband still work and live in a St Paul burb, Bro is retired PA in CA but his wife still works. It is what it is, if Mom was not mentally alert, had Dementia/Alzheimer it would be easy to tuck her away in a Home and she would not know the difference.BuckeyeDennis wrote:You may be a lousy speller, but you are one fine son.

Some of my threads here may scare some of the older ones here, that is not my intent, be glad you have a spouse to look after you/ and/or a younger family member/children to take you in if need be.
I will b 64 in a month, over weight, and a slug since taking are of mom, I just hope to loose some weight, and get out walking more, and I brought my bike down here from home last week. I really lost Trunk/Frame muscle just sitting around here all winter, I noticed that setting up the new shop and just standing around a bit. Now I am just rambling. Luv all here.
