Another little tidbit that I pickup recently that makes a lot of sense to me.

Never use your resaw blade to cut curves.

Why? If you ever twist the blade the cuts will never be as smooth as it was before.

Unfortunately I can't remember where I saw this. I've been doing a lot of research on bandsaws lately and it's all starting to blur.

I do a huge amount of research on a wide variety of subjects from woodworking to old tractors, numerous equine matters, genealogy, medical stuff and a wide variety of trades and occupations along with a zillion misc. subjects...
Often if I become curious about some detail of a subject that I have some knowledge of, I start researching that subject and study it deeply until I no longer know anything about it...

If it were 'easy' it would have already been solved.

I am afraid we will discover manufacturing tolerances will be the determining best effort attainable. However we do need to persist until we get there.
