BTW you acquainted with Mr 'Wright'?
Unfortunately, her first name was "Always!"
Now, she's the "late" Mrs S.

(Oh, Sterling's W2 is a JEWEL! He LUCKED out.
Her, not so much. She married him.)

I tried to find the rules, so I can see where this is written. Can't find it.JPG wrote:
We need to be careful to not use this as a 'Trading post' since that is specifically a denied use of this forum.
To be blunt, all posts must not be of anything the poster has a financial interest in.
Besides, what's wrong with trading items? Honest question.

Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them.

Re: Heads Up - Bargain 'available'
A detail that seems to have been missed. Perhaps 'interpretation' is the reason for differences of opinion.
Not to be used for commercial purposes comes close, but individual members do not meet that definition.
Note there is no 'trading post' forum. This is intentional on the part of our sponsor(SS).
Now we have essentially determined that posting an intent to disperse is acceptable as long as 'negotiations' take place by way of PMs.
Getting too far from that narrow range of activity invites interception by the sponsor.
Individually we have taken it upon our selves to enforce what we believe is acceptable to the sponsor.

Alas, there are very FEW parts made by "Mom" for MY choice of Shopsmith.JPG wrote:A detail that seems to have been missed. Perhaps 'interpretation' is the reason for differences of opinion.

So I DO like the posts about Shopsmiths with rusting headstocks. (You "Mark"
boys, YOUR headstocks don't rust.)

10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.
Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.

Well Steve/Skou you are home early tonight!!!! I would guess the MS does not have any problems with ER parts but after that they would.

You've got to excuse Lover-boy. Too much Cast Iron in his shop,retiredsoldier919 wrote:Lol. My German wife got a giggle out of that.ERLover wrote:FORBOUTON by the MS, I dont know where the criteria is, but it is an rule or at least an unwritten one.

and not enough in his kitchen.
If you don't have a decent balance, it just goes "wrong."
(Can't explain me, I've got PLENTY of kitchen as well as
shop Cast iron, and yet...)

(Someone cue Sterling to post something, uh, "interesting!")
