I put up part 3. Hope you like it. I'm glad you guys like it. I see how much work it is for Nick and Drew to do the Sawdust Sessions now. But it was fun doing it and knowing you all like to see stuff like this.

Your uTube segments are quite interesting, jim. The series on the candle stick holder looks to be very challenging and you are doing a terific job. The uTube are presentations are themselves quite interesting.

Maybe one day Nick will invite you on the Sawdust Session as a special.

Ray,

Based on your endorsement, I got that "Clapton's Guitar" book about luthier Wayne Henderson. I'm about 1/2 way through it and enjoying it very much. I'm impressed at his ability to realize his mental image in wood, with basic tools. My one bit of concern is the absence of "dust control" in his shop, where they like the smell of Brazilian rosewood dust as much as the smell of coffee-beans....

True Master, right tools (including Shopsmith and finger). builds his own instrument and plays better than most ever dreamed of.

I enjoyed your videos very much. I like the candlestick design very much and would like very much to see the plans are they available somewhere?

I am by no means someone who should be giving out any kind of advice as I am a rank amateur but I did notice in the video where you were boring the hole for the candlestick that your tailstock was very loose in the end mount. Was this by design for some reason? It would seem to me that that flexing of the tailstock would cause inaccuracy in your drilling process?

Nice project though and I can't wait to see it all finished I think that is going to be something you will be very proud to display for sure!!
