Now with another night cap thought more about it, Greene & Greene took a lot of FLW Craftsman designs and accected them with a dark wood, I am assuming it was Walnut by its dark color. I am not a fan of there designs, a bit over the top for me. I like FLW more simplistic and less accented work, his was done in pure form, G n G moved it forward to me with the accenting raised wood joints, pegs and handles, a bit flamboyant for my taste.
Where FLW did it more subtle, I think/hope spell check got that one right.
Walnut, just like ERs, as Skou sez they just arnt printing them anymore!!
If you planted an acre of Walnut trees 30 years ago, you could pay to have them cut and hauled away and be a Millionaire!!!!!
