Is it also a fact or just another coincidence
that the left edge of the table tubes align with the left face of the blade (with the quill fully retracted)?

I guess that depends on the length of the spacer on any given machine. The table tubes on my Power Pro do not align with the left side of the blade. Also the blade is to left of center of the slot by about the same amount. My spacer is longer (1 29/64) than the 1 3/8 that we seem to think is the correct dimension.dusty wrote:that the left edge of the table tubes align with the left face of the blade (with the quill fully retracted)?
If the spacer was 1 3/8 then I think the blade would be very close to the center of the slot and the left side of the tubes and blade would be very close in alignment.
