I store all my BS blades coiled both SS and non-SS. After all that is the way you buy them. FWIW, I have never had a BS blade break. The 105" blades for the Powermatic hang on the hook on the side of the saw. The SS blades are stored flat in a storage unit that I made.
Does anyone have any definitive data on BS blade storage and longevity? I would think if there is any real problem the blade manufacturers would let us know.
I think hairs are being split here, I did not intend to do that. I will leave that up to Dusty and his analytical practices.
