Magna Dado question

The purpose of a dado blade is to cut precise width, flat bottom dados or grooves. A wobble dado blade by it's design will, at best, do only one of the two, and without a lot of trial & error, neither of them. I have one, I think it's a cool piece to hang on the wall with my other accessories, but I believe, as do a lot of woodworkers, that a stacked dado set is better in use. When you stack the blades & chippers, you record which combos of each plus the shims that give you specific widths. That will prove faster than dialing the wobbler. Of course, that's only my opinion...free, and worth it.

Hi Sandy, it's been a long time between posts from me, but you may remember I am in Warkworth. I have a Shopsmith Mk5 10E 1954 model.

I also have a Magna Precision Dado blade and I was wondering whether you have photos and information of yours in use.
