MAGNA 10ER Restored Manual Completed

Post by everettdavis »

I have completed the restoration of the MAGNA 10ER Owner's Guide and it should be available for anyone to download at the link below.

Thanks to members James Grange Sr. and John Burger for their valuable assistance in proofing and helping with this project.

I shared the Folder on a Google Drive. You should be able to retrieve it.

UPDATE - As they discuss a bit in the posts below, you have to open the file, then you should see the Download arrow at the top center, allowing you to download it from Google Drive.

Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them. :)

Regrettably, I have discovered an error that I introduced into the Parts Listing pages.

Attempting to secure more legible original prints to work from, I obtained copies of those pages from an alternate source and unknowingly replaced them with two pages that came from a different vintage 10ER manual, believing them the same. They were not identical.

I am working to correct that error, that clearly, was solely mine.

I will implement a version control naming convention with date to insure that one can verify they have the latest and most accurate copy and post it at the same link hopefully later tonight, and update this post accordingly.

It will have v1.01 11 Jun 2016 in the name if I am successful in completing it tonight. Any further corrections will retain the same naming style.

My apologies for any confusion.

UPDATE: V1.01 is uploaded and has replaced the original document

In addition to V1.01 replacing the document at the link above, v1.01 has been added to the footer in the document so you will always know what version you are reading. If yours does not have v1.01 in the footer, it is not the corrected document.

Additionally:

'Find' works within this PDF so you may search for words within textual portions of the document. (The parts listings are graphic copies of original pages, not text and not searchable.) [Well, they are the original pages.... now.]

'The Table of Contents' is live. If you click on the text in the Table of Contents, it will take you to that section of the PDF.

I hope you enjoy it.
