First off the guy that delivered the ER, it was his dads, bought it new.
The Serial # is R58616.1951 vintage.
He was a farmer that could anything, and most had to.
That Tool Craft Shaper, we thought was on a shelf, was not, he welded up a frame on the bottom, then welded 2 pipes to it to slide into the way tubes.
You should see the "Chop Saw" rig he made up to use in conjunction with the ER table. It would be on the pic that was posted from CL. the saw is an old hand held circle saw.
I am going out tonight, but may have time for some pics when I get home, otherwise tomorrow.

Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them. :)

If you lok at the CL pic, that black thing in front of the chisel rack is the Craftsman circle saw that he attached to a home made frame.

Need pictures of it when you get it or after you clean and fixed it up.
someday I will get a 10e or 10er.
Lyall, this thing is clean and basically rust free, just a wipe down with mineral spirits to remove some saw dust gunk, a wipe down and waxing of the way tubes, and new belts. Any new thing about this will be out of here and in a Thread in Community.

JPG wrote:As suggested by Admin, I create this thread for the purpose of posting notice of bargains available on cl and e-bay etc.

Since Admin has made this a sticky post, I feel a need to state the following.

This thread is meant to provide an easily 'found' place to both post and discover items that seem to be a good bargain while precluding those posts elsewhere. This applies to SPTs as well as base machines and major 'accessories'.

It's intent is to eliminate such posts elsewhere.

We need to be careful to not use this as a 'Trading post' since that is specifically a denied use of this forum.

To be blunt, all posts must not be of anything the poster has a financial interest in.
It's a shame that trading is not allowed. I still haven't seen that in writing though.

A matter of intention/intent. FWIW the sponsor has been very tolerant. We do not want to cause that to change.

Establishing a 'Trading post' thread has been specifically denied(AIUI)

JPeG, a trading post has NOT been eliminated, for a few of the
"antique" Shopsmith models. Like my Model 10 stuff.

The radial arm saw, and the stand-alone table saw come
to mind. MotherShip is NOT selling anything for those
models.

I'd JUMP at a chance to get ANYTHING for my old tools!

steve
10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.

Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.

Skou/Steve, I tried to call you last night, but your # is not the same.
Big day today, got that pristine ER delivered, with a working SC for $220, a, $200 asking 200$ but saved me that in gas so I gave him a 20. IT is pristine, and a SC on it!!!!
Another one saved, his dad bought it new, in 1951
We have to meet up in person some day, on my bucket list :D and JPG
