Happy 4th of July

Post by Beave2012 »

Happy fourth of July. Everyone that lives in the USA should be proud to be an American here. Today we celebrate the freedoms we enjoy with those we love. Just remember those who have everything for that freedom.

In honor of the 4th, I would love to see any patriotic projects you have made.

Probably not so much patriotic as commemorative. I made this carved walking cane commemorating the use of the M1911 .45 by the Marines in 4 wars.

What did you use for the .45s? Unique for sure.

Yes we do have much to be grateful in this country, and all that help keep it free over centuries.

The .45 is carved out of the same piece of wood as the shaft of the cane. The hand grips are separate.

Thanks, living near or in Milw, WI, you would need them live, with an instant release on the cane shaft. It has gotten that bad around there, and pouring into adjacent burbs.
