As the years roll by, (more years? That's a good thing) I find it is necessary that I work more slowly and deliberately in the shop in order to lesson errors.

More thought is a good thing!
Double checking is a good thing!
Proper lifting is a good thing!

Hurrying is not a good thing!

Anybody who hasn't screwed up a piece of wood has never done any woodworking. Always keep a bit of extra wood around so you can make a second piece when the first one doesn't work out.
