I doubt you will need to replace the spring. Lube it maybe.

To increase tension, advance the quill as in the video until the quill separates from the pinion gear. Then rotate the feed shaft further, then reinsert the quill.

For red pouch. Ditto on caulk forms or even for masonry mortar / tile grout. They sure look clean.

It's a plastic sleeve with a spring sticking out the end.

That's the drive coupler for powering SPTs like the bandsaw or the planer.

They can? I never checked but thought for safety they were different IDs. You guys eat and sleep em, just tell me its true. I dont have time tonight and wont be back to moms till tomorrow.
NO NO, I dont thinks so in hind sight, that is why the inner spline spacing are different on the coupler ends. One end splines on the coupler spring end are different spacing then the one end for the hub on the SPT.

Coupler none spring end has 5 internal splines, spring end has 4.
I TOOK THE TIME, GOTCHA JPG, Oh does it feel GOOD Shafts diam on SPTs is larger then the drive shafts on the Mark V HS, did not measure but tried to flip flop hubs, I would say a 1/16" diam difference.

Headstock has all 5/8" shafts, some SPT have 1/2" shafts while others have 5/8". So a SPT hub with a 5/8" shaft will fit on the headstock and the ones for the headstock will fit the SPT's with 5/8" shaft so YES they can be put on wrong.
