Yesterday her youngest sis, about 84, went to the Saturday Farmers Market and stopped by with fresh farmers eggs, beets, and Il or IN corn on the cob.
Tonight I did BBQ Chick thighs on the grill, with Famous Daves BBQ sauce, pre seasoned with Penzy Spices Ozark Chicken Seasoning, grilled and added the sauce at the end, mean while the beets root and tops off, are baking at 350* covered with a couple TSB h2o, about an hour, fork tender like potatoes. Corn with some sugar and salt in the boiling water for about 10 minutes, same for the beet top lower thicker stem removed. That was dinner tonight!!!!
So to my point, how can these youngens and there 40 ish paarents live of of Pizza deliveries, burger joints,et? I go out to a mom and pop Pizza place to get one for us, but is not plastic cheese, and sausage from cheese wey. Or a good Culvers burger for mom and I just when I get lazy, Or the Friday fish fry carry out from a place near by, I hate carry out fish, bur easier then taking mom and less then 5 minutes away, but that is a treat not the norm. I guess they just dont know any better. And 1/3 of the population is estimated to be Diabetic in a few years.
