It's been a long day.
Here's hoping for a brief rehab!

Dusty, sorry to hear your having some issues. Your shop will still be there when your wife decides she has had enough of you. I have been out of my shop for about 6 months now. Hopping to get back to it someday. Have had several thing go wrong, that weren't suppose to. I don't like to complain, so mostly just keep it to myself.

My sincere thanks to everyone who has contacted me or posted here on the forum. Surgery went well and recovery has not been a real problem. It takes too long but it is progressing. I have exceeded the amount of rehabilitation that is covered by Medicare but I am now continuing on at my own expense.

My cardiologist assisted in identifying a facility and it is working out quite well. Same facility throughout all of rehab. The staff is great. With a couple exceptions, they are all retired nurses.

Facilities offer more equipment than I could ever imaging using. It is more like a small gymnasium than anything else except that I have never been to a gymnasium that had EKGs to wear during exercise. Love the treadmill.

Again - thanks for the support.

Thank you, ER but I gotta get strong first. Laying around doing nothing turns ones muscles into mush. At rehab, I have worked my way back to 8lbs dumb bells. I felt really stupid curling 2lb. weights.

Thank you, Charlese. I am doing what I can to hold up my end of battle. Sometimes it doesn't feel like much but the folks at rehab say I'm doing better than average and better than they had expected.

One shining light - my vitals are good.
