Mark VII refit

I inherited my father's Mark VII with basic tools he had acquired over the years(mid sixties). Over time and use it had worn. In the last three months, through the use of this forum, I had the quill bearing replaced along with intermediate shaft bearings, main bearings, cam bearing, and motor bearings. The gentleman who did the bearing refit is out of New Mexico, and recommend him highly. A new starter relay, and the machine starts and runs fine. Hardly flickers the shop lights when it starts and runs so much quieter. The bearings are from a Mark V. Except for the cam bearing, which is a common size and had to be special ordered. I only had to rethread(helicoil) 1 hole that my father had used a sheet metal screw on to attach the belt cover. I am into the refit for about $150.00. Most of that paying someone else for work I cannot do.
It is a good machine.
