That makes sense.rpd wrote:The model designation (500, 505, 510, 520) started with the introduction of the 510 tables.

As did the 'Mark V'.rpd wrote:The model designation (500, 505, 510, 520) started with the introduction of the 510 tables.
Previously all(including SS Inc. early production) were Mark 5.
Except for the "10".

And we ALL know, that "10" was the best of the bunch.JPG wrote:rpd wrote: Except for the "10".

10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.
Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.

The Greatness officially starts
Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them.

Stretched Greenie. The ad says 72" rams, but I measured a couple ways from the pic and think maybe 84-96" rams??? Can't imagine how much weight hydraulic rams would add.

Raising to vertical might be a bit 'interesting'.roy_okc wrote:Stretched Greenie. The ad says 72" rams, but I measured a couple ways from the pic and think maybe 84-96" rams??? Can't imagine how much weight hydraulic rams would add.

Note it includes a lathe duplicator.

Son of gun that's just a few minutes from the house. But I have no use for it.

Re: Heads Up - Bargain 'available'
Not real cheap but a bargain considering all the SPT and accessories. The OPR is a fairly rare sighting here. Setting on the OPR is part of a lathe duplicator might be a teaser or a random extra part.

Good deal or not? I have no clue, but it looks like this thing was built to last.
