It sounds like possible progress... Shopsmith has been nearly invisible for far too long.
I only knew about Shopsmiths from years of seeing them at booths at the state fair and Indy home shows. Bought my 510 new in 1988. When I bought my second one (The Old Gray Mare) years later at a large auction only one other guy there even had any idea at all what it was and the auction people sure didn't know what it was. Not a clue...

Too bad they aren't coming to the west coast.
They had a show scheduled a couple of years ago. But it got cancelled.
