) and two cabinets like the one pictured were left behind. Actually the doors are hinged opposite in a pair but otherwise identical. It is 76" tall X 24' wide X 16" deep. The sides are shelf drilled. The top door is frosted glass, the bottom door is solid. I'm going to remove both doors (and save them for another use) and make a caster base for it that is a little bigger than the cabinet for stability but I have to be sure that it does not raise the total height more than 1/2". My basement woodshop has reasonably high ceilings for a basement but like most basements it does have an about 10" tall beam that runs the entire 40' length of the woodshop room under the joist of the floor above. The bottom of that beam is exactly 77" for its length. I want to be able to roll that tower around on either side of that beam. If I decide that I need to I could shorten the cabinet height a little but I would rather not have to (Lazy 
).The hardboard back panel is inset about 1/2" and I plan to cover the back with a panel of 1/4" peg-board. The 1/2" space will be plenty for hook clearance.
I have a bunch of ideas for the inside shelves as well as possible use of the outside of the side panels but I like to let those things just happen as I go along.
I don't know what I am going to do with the second cabinet yet but I have some ideas. One thought is to modify it into a clamp tower...
I could just build fresh from scratch but I get more satisfaction from converting and re-using stuff. I'm just funny that way...
I might get this thing done next week, or next month or the month after or...
