LED Goose Neck Light

Post by ERLover »

I have one one ever ER dedicated DP, and 2 SS Band Saws, but you have to epoxy metal plate on the plastic cover of the BS, I use a 16 oz can top. They have a magnetic base and cheap from Amazon. A few extra ones to add to the TS or Router Table, for that "light" you need to align a line/mark. Even though on the Router table not much for the magnetic base to stick too, I have a 4" diam steel bar stock, 3" long from my time at HD on the Conomatic Multi Spindle machines. It makes a great temp base for many things, or base for something that needs a pounding.

Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them. :)

I will back up a bit, on a modern SS in Drill Press mode nothing is better then Ron/reibles umbrella LED light ring, no shadows, but will not fit on an ER, trust me, I have 2 of them and no umbrellas to put them under, or be able to mount on an ER in DP mode

Just got 2 more, one on the work bench top shelf over the Lap Top at night in the garage shop instead of the Florescent that attracts too many bugs do to its brightness, this is more a focused light just over the Key Board, kinda like the clip on book reading light so it does disturb your SO.
