With a PP and a power loss, it isn't needed in case of a power loss. When power comes back on, the PP computer will just boot up and be at 500 RPM setting and not running, so it is a moot point for the PP. The Mark V would be handy though ...

How often do you have brown outs or black outs where your shop is located?
We have very few of them here but when we do it is usually during weather conditions that in themselves signal a warning that I should not be in the shop.
I just do not use the Mark V during inclement weather.
YES, I KNOW! Not all black outs or brown outs occur as a result of inclement weather.

Yep when running machinery, I cannot hear SWMBO trying to get my attention.
Tripping the circuit breaker to the shop is usually quite effective!
The cause of much yelling and tirades.
