power station parts

does anyone have a power station the are willing to part out or at least dismantle and measure the bushings so i can have them machined

Did you check with billmayo. Reference the immediately preceding post. It sounds like he has what you need.

I'll look tomorrow to see if I can get to the bushings to which you refer without too much difficulty.

I am sorry. I went to the shop this morning to evaluate what needed to be done. I am not willing to do the tear down that would be necessary. There was a time when I had the necessary enthusiasm to do such a tear down but I fear that enthusiasm has eluded me.

I too encountered that 'problem' last night although the lack of sufficient light may have something to do with that.

After looking at the exploded drawing, I 'think' removing the c clip retaining the bushing behind the control lever base will allow fairly simple removal and replacement.

Later today maybe.

Here's a crude drawing for the bushing.

All dimensions are actuals off of one of my bushings.

The corners are chamfered with exception of squared opening.

I will check with my shop manager and see if we can't re-work a couple of 3/4" deep-well 3/8" sockets. There's enough metal to get the dimensions we need and already have 3/8" square bore.

Already have the sockets; OD and 3/8" are perfect. Test fitted them on one of my machines.
