Not Pretty But. . .
easily made, a comfortable fit.
I needed a handle for the blade so went online and found pictures of many models. Selected one that looked right for this blade and downloaded it. Then I adjusted the size to what I thought was right and printed it. That was my pattern. No sense in being creative when those engineers have already solved the design problem for me. I used the 1"x1" drum sander to finish it. Put some of that sticky sandpaper I got at the Dollartree (see Community). I have enough left to make 27 more - not bad for a buck.

Nice work on the handle.
Didn't know about that sticky sand paper. Great idea. Gotta look around next time I'm in that store.

Looks pretty to me, and almost original, with a bit of distress added to it, it would be original

Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them.

That is a very nice looking handle. If it's still raw wood, a nice finish would add even more to it... Great job!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Not Pretty But. . .
Isn't that "sticky back" sandpaper the stuff normally sold as non-slip material for steps and such places?
I never really thought about sanding with it, I'll have to get some and check it out. Anything that works.
Nice handle...
