Hi Stephen,
How did you "polish" the way tubes? I just ordered a new Power Pro today and will soon be polishing and waxing too.

Thanks Stephen. I thought perhaps you used some sort of polish prior to the Johnson's wax.

Re: Power Pro Upgrade
I dont have one or dont plan to, just dont need it. With that said, from I read here lately, if I would, I would not do my own retro fit, I would buy the HS package from the MS, and if I did have any problems, it would all be on her.dhmeissner wrote:I'm seriously considering a new Mk 7, somebody talk me out of it please.

The Greatness officially starts
Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them.

Re: Power Pro Upgrade
I have done the upgrade package twice. One of the machines has the dual tilt and the other is functioning as my drill press and I have not yet decided if I want to go the full boat of dual tilt on it or not.dhmeissner wrote:I'm seriously considering a new Mk 7, somebody talk me out of it please.
Since I've gone down the path twice I'm hardly the one to try and talk you out of getting one.
Both of mine are working well, just enjoying the table saw function today cutting up some plastic parts. Smooth and quite, and powerful, I mean what more could you want from a shopsmith.
