Pop-up ads
While navigating the forums today, I was greeted with multiple pop-up ads inviting me to register for more information about Shopsmith products. Very annoying!

Re: Pop-up ads
I run Chrome browser and have had the Adblock Plus extension on it for years now. Unless someone mention ads I usually never know because the Adblock works so well, a must have extension now days
Re: Pop-up ads
I got one pop-up yesterday, but I didn't even read it so I don't know what it was about. I just automatically kill stuff like that and keep on with what I'm doing. One or two I will tolerate, but if a particular site gives me too many pop-ups, I get annoyed and never go back to that site.

Re: Pop-up ads
I occasionally get unwanted popups but I do not recall ever getting popups while on this forum. I am curious, kenbu. Do you have popups while viewing the Shopsmith forun here?

Re: Pop-up ads
I had a pop up like that this morning when using firefox on my phone, actually it came up twice. Killed it both times.
I'm not seeing it on the PC.
I agree, hate pop ups.

Re: Pop-up ads
I browse the forum with Firefox on Windows, Safari on iOS, and Chrome on Android, which one depending mostly on what time of day. I haven't seen a popup here on any of them.
But I do have a vague recollection of reading somewhere that malware can support popups.

Their, pertains to they, or "their" website.
They're. Pertains to them, and what they want to do.

"There pop up blocker?" How about their pop up
blocker?

10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.
Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.
