Dallas too stupid to win

Post by GoNavy »

Just watched the Dallas Giants game...omg...why would anyone go for one more play with 17 sec on the clocks at the 45 yd line...just kick the Freaking field goal you morons, Dallas deserved to lose that game, because they are too stupid to be playing in the NFL. I am a Dallas fan but it's pretty hard to be on their side since Landry...every coach since him has been a moron...I think I am through with them...jeez...thanks for letting me vent, I needed that...

First, I am no Dallas fan since they arrogantly self declared themselves Amarica's team years ago.

However, when they ran the play you site there were 12 seconds left and they were on their OWN 46 yard line. The result of the play was a 1st down on the Giants 44 yard line but they could not stop the clock. The error was not running that last play to be able to get out of bounds to stop the clock and then kick the field goal.

As an old American Football fan, I am employing my 1st amendment right not to go to a game or to patronize TV until those young, ignorant, naive, highly paid players come to their senses.

I respect their right to express their deep concerns over racial discrimination, but to flagrantly dis-respect the very symbols that represent the Nation, and the those brave citizens who have given them that right, is totally wrong.

As a person who lived through Pearl Harbor, WWII, Korea, The Communist threats, the destruction of the world trade center, not to mention the Vietnam struggles and the latest conflicts in the Arabic nations - Seen, witnessed, talked with and participated with Heroes and patriots of those wars and episodes, I am completely discussed with the horrible visual dis-respect of our National Anthem and our flag.

I have not gone into the Thousands of youth who gave their lives during the Civil War to free slaves, nor the Revolutionary War that gave us a nation free from rule from a foreign ruler.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Couldn't agree more. We have at least two generations "on the ground" now that have no clue what it means to be "American". Me and my wife's families came here in the early 1600's as indentured servents (volunteer slaves) to earn the right to live here. They are rolling in their graves :(

Well said Charlese.

Food for thought

When you do watch a football game and they play the national anthem do you stand with your hand over your heart. Or do you remain seated in your couch potato place.

That comment made on Facebook made me think! Yes I know there is difference. Yes I know
One is a statement and one is simply being lazy. But which is worst a person making a statement or a person too lazy to stand?
No condemnation just brought it up for something to think about.
