Brush with mortality
Been off the forum for a few days due to a bad case of salmonella food poisoning. I don't think I have ever been that sick. I have worked in a lot of ICU's but this was my first time as a patient. Apparently I contracted a strain that nothing but the big gun antibiotics kill. Got back home yesterday and feeling better today. I slept for 14 hours after getting home and feel significantly better this morning.

Sorry for your episode of illness, paul. But very happy you are over it.
Have any clue of the cause?

Scary stuff. Glad that the antibiotics worked for you.

Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them.

Glad you are coming back! Modern medicine (most of the time) is a wonder. We all need to be smart about how and what we eat.... JMHO
And yeah, why would anyone eat raw meat ?
