IOS10 on my ipad

Post by ChrisNeilan »

Since i updated to ios 10 on my IPad and phone i can no longer save emailed photos to the device. Irritating to say the least, especially when i use these devices for time sensitive issues at work! I wonder whaot the work around is, or what master setting must be clicked???

Nope, used to be that way, not anymore, at least on my two devices. It is still that way on my old first edition IPad, i will not let that one update.

I have 2 lap tops, 1 with MS 10 and 1 with 8, when ever they do an up date, the one with 8 will not connect to my wireless Internet connection.
F this modern tech some days. Yes they will rule us some time in the future and take over, out of our control, just like in the movie in the late 80s or early 90s!!!!

Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them. :)

iOS 10.0 truly broke my daughter's iPhone 5. Immediately after updating to 10.0, she could no longer get cellular service -- neither voice nor data. The Apple store told her that she had a bad motherboard. Replacing that was cost-prohibitive, so we took it to the AT&T store for a second opinion. The AT&T store told us that had happened to quite a few people after updating to 10.0, and there was nothing they could do to fix it. So they sold us a new phone, and advised us to not do a firmware upgrade until at least 10.1.

Version 10 is indeed quite a huge update from 9. According to various tech web sites, the update continues to update over the course of days or weeks, and your Phone "learns" what to do. Truly makes it a "smart phone"! i have discovered some neat things, such as voicemail. My voicemail is now converted to text for preview- pretty neat. I just have to be patient i guess. Not my fortay!

IMO, the greatest denial of service these days is microsoft every time they 'do' an update. The last one took 7 hours! :(

P.S. the time of day is no longer 'visible' on the task bar.

Never forget that a software update is a downgrade in perfornmance and usability.
