Heads Up - Bargain 'available'

Re: Heads Up - Bargain 'available'
Located in Randlestown, Maryland. Met with a guy whose brother passed away beginning of the year. He just bought his house and has a 1960 - 1963 "Goldie' Mark V. I couldn't find any attachments but things are kind of scattered around in his basement. He was hoping to get $200.00 for it. I told him I couldn't swing that because I have a wedding coming up, but would help him find a home for it. I've attached some pictures although there is a lot of stuff around and on top of it. Sorry I didn't get the serial number off it.

Re: Heads Up - Bargain 'available'
Maybe it's just me, but that looks like he replaced the tables with custom solid wood tables. Even the extension tables. If I wasn't across the country I would go even it just to tour it.pugdog wrote:Located in Randlestown, Maryland. Met with a guy whose brother passed away beginning of the year. Yea it was weird. I believe the table for the table saw is original (no wood) its just there was a piece of wood sitting on top of it with some other stuff. sorry I should have cleaned it all off.

The miter gauge is there(at least the bar), the carriage and trunion/table, unusual aux table, no sign of lathe stuff(tailstock/tool rest) nor drill chuck(may be in drawers).
Condition appears very good.
Not known - drive(gilmer/poly-v) and motor HP.

Sorry, this one is what I'm talking about.
My best offer on this one, would be the
C note, (otherwise known as a Franklin)
If only Lover would get it for me.
ERL, I only want a few parts off of this
one, and the speed changer is #1.

10 ER, stripped down.
Basic 10ER, Parts machine. Will be a semi-dedicated drill-press machine.
10 ER, a "survivor" of the trailer fire, in the back yard, needing restoration. Has a Mk5 headrest. Finally, stripped down.
Numerous parts, for Model 10 stuff. Except for lower saw guard, A and B adapters, I've got it.
Looking for one more, or some 9 inch extension table raisers.

Not sure if these are a good price or not, but I have hardly ever seen either one for sale.

So you are just a yoke, cream and gravy eater!!!! If I would get it, it would be for an other ER set up and I keep the SC, you just get a chance at the whites, milk and left over gray fat.

I dont want to run a infamous ER without a desired/sought after SC. It goes against my classic tool collection mentality.

Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them.
