BUT - It has been my experience with Shopsmith that when an item is in stock it will ship the next business day after the status becomes "Order Being Processed". Call me a pessimist!
I agree but in this case it is not in stock. Since they added "Should ship within a few days" to the status makes me believe they have a readily available source. So we shall see.

I guess "Order Being Processed - Should ship within a few days" means what it says. :) :)

This morning before I left to go to the Commissary I checked the status and the status said "Repairing Shipment" and it no longer said "Out of Stock". I just got back home and checked again and the status has changed to "Shipped" with today's date. With a little luck I will have them Saturday but more likely Monday.

BTW, they are #9.99 each from SS. The shipping was $6.99 for two. So $13.99 each and free shipping from eBay is just about a wash. Actually it was $1.00 cheaper from SS.

Suggestion: I bought several belts several years ago for my Sakura from a source, may have been McMasters, just don't remember for sure but, at the time the guy advised me to keep them in the refrigerator until ready to use. They don't like heat. Also another tip, after using the saw, slip belt off the pulleys to relieve the tension. This will increase the longevity tremendously.

Well, the Post Office god has smiled on me. My belts are 2 miles down the road at the Post Office and will be delivered today. They left CINCINNATI, OH yesterday at 12:44 am and were in Salt Lake City yesterday at 11:02 pm. :D :D :D

Good luck with that! My last order was on the truck on the 5th to be delivered. When it didn't arrive I checked and it was back in Chicago??? Never fear the very next day it was out for delivery again. Did it arrive? NO! No idea what happened but over night it changed again and it was on the truck for delivery for the third time.

The good news is that the third day was the charm and it arrived. USPS by the way.

I hope thing work better for you.

Well Ed, I have to say that I have never ever had that happen. As USPS tracking said they arrived today. She was running really late but they are here as they said.

No. The SS belts were $9.99 each and the shipping was $6.99 for two. That was $1.00 cheaper than two belts from the eBay source listed above with free shipping.
