Please help me understand, Beeg. Why do you believe that the 5' extension tubes do anything with regard to replacing the dust collector filter hood? What am I missing?beeg wrote:How do I use the 5 ft connector tubes to replace my DC3300 filter hood?:DThat I ordered last Monday.

The only function served by the 5' extension tubes (that I know of) is to tie the tables together on both the infeed and outfeed sides and in so doing stabilize the Shopsmith Mark V table surface.

HAHAHA I DID have that a little unclear.
Monday I ordered the 42' filter hood #555942. Today I received what I thought was my order, 2 five ft connector tubes #521942. Notice that the last 3 numbers are the same.
OH by the way, if someone ordered the connector tubes, I have them. BUT I want my filter hood.
