So no one is confused here, mom has a bell she rings and the other phone to ring mine in my bedroom across the hall from her.
I missed JPG "ringing the bell". I thought he was referring to mom, not MS. That is why I posted what I did about her. Sorry!! :o

Nearly 70 years of experience has taught me that you can not soar with the Eagles if you hoot with the Owls.

Early to bed early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy, and wise!

Some old birds only think they are eagles....... it was a wise old owl that said that if I remember correctly.

Speaking of owls.......

Heard one last night and it was close by. This morning an opossum head was in the front yard. Not sure it was owl related but the rest of the body is not here. We do have coyotes so it could be their doing but since I heard the owl I thought of that first.

I always thought this was:
Early to bed and early to rise and your girl goes out with other guys.

Healthy, wealthy and wise. Would you really want a girl that goes out with another guy?
Such a girl isn't looking for a life partner she is looking for thrills that often fade into regret.

I usually go to bed between 11:30 and 12:00 and I rise around 8:00. Before I retired I was up around 6:30 and went to bed at 11:00.

Plus I have been married 51 years to the same wonderful woman. We race each other to bed at night the loser has to turn off the light.
