FINGER JOINT JIG

Post by woodmeister »

Has anyone in here ever posted how to build and accurate repeatable finger joint jig? I want to build one and start making some nice boxes.
Thanks,
Tom

Finger joint or box joint?
Here is a plan for a box joint jig.

I like the look of this style, I did start to build one but haven't finished it yet.

In the Power Tool Woodworking for Everyone book that came with my machine on page 87 is how yo build a jig to do finger joints. It is in the tablesaw joint section.

This was probably my first jig that built after getting my machine in the mid 80's. I still have and use the jig today. Mine was set up to do 3/8 inch fingers.
