New Saw
I have been looking at saws for a while now to replace the 30 year old unisaw that I had. Just got this assembled and running. At first I was not impressed with the dust collection. Then I remembered to turn on the dust collector.

Greenie, Grayling, SS stand alone BS and BS SPT, jointer and belt sander, 3 Ers with Speed Changers. I think those 3 cover my ER needs, and space for them.

Does the overhead dust collection system work as Saw Stop says it does? Does it really collect 99% of the dust? Our woodworking club is considering getting that add on.

Re: New Saw
Yes it does. Basically dust free as long as you are cutting a board with the curf at least 1/2" from the left edge. The only time you really get dust is if you are cutting right on the edge of a board say like ripping a 3 1/2 inch board down to 3 3/8. The dust collection was more important to me than anything else and I'm very pleased with it.wa2crk wrote:Cabinetmaker
